About MASAR

MASAR is an independent educational initiative helping Arab students reach study and scholarship opportunities in Indonesia.

Why MASAR exists

Reaching a study opportunity in Indonesia is not inherently difficult — it is simply unclear. Information about Indonesian universities and scholarships is scattered across Indonesian and English sources, while clear Arabic information remains limited. The result is that a qualified student can miss an opportunity purely because they never heard of it, or never understood its conditions in time.

MASAR was created to address exactly that: to make the pathway clearer, more organised and more reliable. We gather the information, verify it and explain it in Arabic, help students understand their options and choose what genuinely fits, then support them through preparing, submitting and following up an application.

Who we serve

We serve Arabic-speaking students first, and Yemeni students and students from other Arab countries in particular. This site is also available in English and Indonesian, and we welcome international students from outside the region.

What MASAR provides

  • Reliable information about studying in Indonesia
  • Scholarship discovery and announcement tracking
  • Guidance on choosing a university and a programme
  • Application and document preparation
  • One-to-one consultations for each student’s situation
  • Practical support throughout the study journey

What we are, and what we are not

MASAR is an independent educational initiative focused on studying in Indonesia.

  • We are not an Indonesian government body, an embassy, or a university.
  • We are not a scholarship provider and we do not make admission decisions.
  • We do not officially represent any university unless that is explicitly stated and documented.

How we work

We only publish what we can verify

No unverified information, and no figure or deadline we cannot confirm at source.

No false promises

We guarantee no admission and no scholarship, and we say plainly where your chances are strong and where they are not.

The student decides

Our role is to clarify the options. The decision stays with you and your family.

Depth, not breadth

One destination we know in depth, rather than a little about many.
